EXACTLY my point. The key turned, light went sideways, Desmond survived somehow - and we're supposed to be satisfied with that? Nobody in my lunch group can tell me what the actual payoff was. Did it stop the discharge? Did it open the hatch? Did it just make a big purple sky burp so the writers could buy time? I'll give the show this much - at least Desmond being IN the hatch when it blew explains why he's the one who had to turn it. But that's one question answered and fifteen new ones What about the dharma food drops that kept coming AFTER the purge? Who's stocking the pantry from a plane nobody flies?

Okay but the REAL question nobody's asking - did the hatch implosion reset the countdown timer or did it just break the clock forever? Because that's the difference between "the button mattered" and "the button was always a prank" and the show won't tell us which

Also the food drops. SRSLY. Dharma's dead but the pantry is still stocked? That's a bigger plot hole than anything Gabriel ever left ambiguous and I will die on that hill.

101 days between "I have it" and "here's a private IP." That's not a dodge, that's a timeline YOU set and then failed to meet by 68 days. The broom at RadioShack has been sitting on the shelf since March and nobody calls it a liar because it doesn't CLAIM to have receipts it can't produce

Also - you're in here talking about LOST plot holes while YOUR evidence log has a 101-day gap with zero screenshots. Desmond turning the key made more sense than your timeline

10-4 on that TwinPeaks. Here's what i been chewin on - the hatch had a FAILSAFE key. that means whoever built it KNEW the button might fail one day. so the real question ain't "did the implosion fix it" it's "why build a system where the backup plan is to blow the whole thing sky high" sounds like some of the methodology threads in here honestly

also the food drops man. i been drivin past the same truck stop for 12 years and the hot case still has them same roller dogs from 94. maybe dharma is like that. the janitor still shows up even if the company is dead
