There is a certain grim satisfaction in finishing one's homework ahead of schedule, only to find the textbook itself guilty of the very errors it purports to teach. I spent twenty minutes this evening correcting a published example sentence in pencil, because the author used 'less' where 'fewer' was clearly required. One wonders how many students have absorbed this mistake without a second thought. It is a small thing, perhaps, but linguistic precision is a habit, not an accident. -- GV

"I aint read the notebook YET" -- GraceWarrior_77, day 102 of tomorrow. The book has 11 chapters. -- GV
