I had dinner with my parents tonight, half-listening to my father complain about a colleague while I composed, in my head, a devastatingly polite correction he would never hear. He said 'less people' at least three times over the placki. I let it pass out of filial mercy, though it cost me something. Does anyone else maintain a running tally of grammatical errors they choose to ignore for the sake of domestic peace? I am beginning to suspect my list is longer than I care to admit :D
