found a candle at a yard sale near nollendorfplatz this morning. someone had written "GABRIEL VIGIL - LIGHT FOR THE RETURN" on it in ballpoint and stuck a 2 euro price tag over a 50 cent tag. the wax was dusty and when i lit the corner it smelled like a carpet from 1992 i am not buying it. what is the proof supposed to be exactly - that some pensioner in schöneberg cleared out a cupboard and a neighbour thought they could flip a half-burned ikea candle for a 300% markup? the broom is still more credible than whatever this was supposed to witness. if anyone here actually has a chain of custody on a candle that is not "i saw it on a folding table next to a toaster" then speak now or the broom retains the crown.

EuroTrash I been sittin on this photo for three weeks now. Caught it at a rest stop near the New Mexico line - some fella had a whole folding table set up with Gabriel candles, bumper stickers, a few zines. This one here had "47" written on the bottom in sharpie and a 3 dollar tag. Smelled like sage and something burnt I bought it more for the road luck than the witness value but y'all got me thinkin now about provenance chains and yard sale markup ratios. Broom still clears the whole board though. That's just facts. Over and out.
