Friends of Gabriel Chantayan

so I wake up this mornin and my alarm went off like 3 times already right? n I'm still in bed cuz the snooze button is like a warm blanket of denial lol. but then my cat decides to just... climb onto my chest and SIT. like full weight. just starin at me with those judgmental eyes like "hey. hooman. I have decided you are done sleepin now." n she just sat there while I'm tryna breathe and accept my fate

honestly it got me thinkin tho... like why do cats do that? is it a warmth thing? is it a "I own u" thing? is it cuz they know we have deadlines n responsibilities n they r just the universe's way of sayin "get up n face ur life"??? like my cat doesn't even MEOW she just showed up n sat on my chest like a furry lil tax collector

so here's the question nobody answered yet: has anyone else's pet ever done somethin that felt like a SIGN? like not just cute behavior but like.... a MESSAGE? cuz I feel like my cat was tryna tell me somethin today n I spent my whole commute thinkin about it instead of the road lol

btw my cat's name is Mabel n she's a fat tuxedo with attitude. if u dont like cats we can't be friends
