so i left work at 5 like a normal person and it took me 45 minutes to go 12 miles home. TWELVE MILES. thats like.... walking pace. i sat in my car with the radio cranked pretending i was in a music video just to keep my brain from melting out of my ears. and im supposed to get up tomorrow and do it again and be a functional member of society?? lol yeah right. i dont buy it that this is like... fine and normal. what is the proof that any of this is worth it because from where im sitting it looks like we all just accepted that spending an hour of our day in a metal box staring at brake lights is just 'how it is' and honestly thats insane

...well I'll be... I was out at 8am with the frost on the windows checking cattle fence line after coyotes carried on all night and the crick spot needed tightening good friend... but honestly the metal box sounds nicer than shivering in a pasture at dawn... I swanny.
