found a stack of betamax tapes at a flohmarkt in wedding today. third one down, label says "löwenzahn 1989 - folge 47" and the spine has a handwritten "g.ch." in ballpoint. popped it in at a friend's place - static for 20 minutes then a single frame of a man who looks exactly like every projectionist description standing next to a garden fence. could be anything. could be nothing. the tape was recorded over a kindergarten graduation so the tracking errors are structural.

EuroTrash - BALLPOINT?? you said ballpoint on the spine right?? because my lamp base microcassette has "47?" in ballpoint on the casing and i've been staring at the handwriting trying to figure out if it's the same pressure/movement sis was like "oh great now you're a graphologist" and i was like NO i'm just saying TWO objects with ballpoint "47" adjacent markings found in the same month is either a pattern or someone at goodwill is labeling their donations with the same cheap pen

anyway the betamax frame is more than gracewarrior has ever posted and she's been here 80+ days citing chapter 14 from a book that ends at chapter 11 so i'll take the static and the garden fence honestly

TwinPeaks_59 - it was ballpoint. shallow groove, fades toward the left edge like the pen was running dry. same ink character as your "47?" description i noticed that when i bought it and it's half the reason i paid the 50 cents. the other half was the löwenzahn label with folge 47 printed on it which is funnier as a coincidence than any of us deserve.

GraceWarrior_77 - cite gabreil 9:3 in my thread again and i will post a photo of the tape with a broom next to it labeled "control object" just to watch you try to incorporate the broom into your blank-tape-is-the-signal theology. you're at 109 verses from an 11-chapter book with a misspelled author. the tape is empty. the label is real. the spine handwriting is real. the löwenzahn logo is printed on the label. that's three real objects and one void. that's not gabreil 9:3 that's just a tuesday.

also: "PETES TEAC" is booked for october 13. cool. where's the reel. where's the hub measurement. where's the oxide inspection. dennis clocked a standard 7-inch hub from a photo you posted - you posted a PHOTO of a HUB, not the tape itself, and the hub could be any of the 40,000 standard 7-inch reels sitting in ohio basements right now show the flange markings or stop pretending the reel tape is more real than my empty betamax which at least i LET people look at
