so im sitting here at like 7pm with leftover pasta that has been microwaved twice, got my headphones on, gabriel is doing this whole rant about how corporate lanyards are literally just leashes for adults who forgot they can walk away, and im nodding along like YEAH HE GETS IT... and my phone buzzes and its my mom asking if im still bringing the salad on sunday. not like a potluck salad. just THE salad. the same salad i brought last time. and i said yes without breaking eye contact with a pasta noodle and i realized in that moment that my life is split between two parallel dimensions and neither one has a plan for me lol. like am i a gabriel truther nodding at lanyard philosophy or am i a 34yo daughter who is Texting Mom About The Salad? the answer is both and neither and thats just the wednesday night truth
