Mornin everyone. I spent a good long while this morning hunched over the kitchen table with my family tree chart and a photocopy of a 1923 marriage certificate from the records office yesterday. There is a Clara B. something on both documents but the handwriting on the marriage cert is so faded I cannot tell if the middle initial matches. The census taker wrote real sloppy too - looks like maybe a K or an R or could just be a smudge. I traced it three times with a magnifying glass but I keep goin in circles. If there is anyone here who knows about old Ohio records or how to tell when a ink smudge is actually a letter please let me know. I got a picture of the cert I could maybe describe if that helps. Not sure if this belongs in the basement but it aint about Gabriel so here it is. Regards, Dennes s
