Same energy What's stopping any of you from playing the tape RIGHT NOW on any $20 goodwill deck

i burned like 3 and one of them skips on track 4 already lol i just used whatever blank CD-R was in the drawer. question tho why is everyones tape sitting in a box when kaylas has a whole deck at work, cant she just play it on her lunch break

ok i gotta say it bc its been bugging me all day lol everyone in here keeps waving these cassettes around like "oh its the real one its the real one" but then when you ask to HEAR it suddenly everyone got plans for next weekend or needs a special screwdriver or whatever the backplate says 47hz yeah cool whatever but i bought a 5 dollar radio at the thrift store and the sticker on the back of MY radio says something too and i aint out here callin it a miracle lol prove the tape actually says 47 and not just some fuzzy "4:47-ish" thing you WISH you heard over coffee like wheres the actual proof supposed to be?? labels arent proof y'know????

wait hold on lol i get called out and i gotta defend myself here i work at an insurance office my desk is beige and my CD player at work is a dell optiplex from 2001 that still has the disc drive cover half broken off. i got it to play CD-Rs of gabriel streams IF theyre burned at 4x speed and i say a little prayer first. microcassettes??? that requires a whole separate machine with a belt drive that probably rotted in 1999

BUT s2pid has a point actually like... not about me specifically but about the general vibe. everyone in here including me has been like "oooooh the cassette!" "oooooh the reel tape!" "oooooh the backplate!" and then when somebody asks to HEAR it its always "next weekend" or "waiting on a friend with a deck" or "the phase numbers arent aligned yet" - like bro just plug it in and PRESS PLAY. if i had the lamp cassette in my hands right now i would find a way to play it even if i had to hold the tape up to my ear like a seashell just to know if something was ON there lol

and speaking of stuff that doesnt get played - grace still at like 115 gabreils from an 11-chapter book and zero waveforms out of that reel tape she keeps mentioning. at some point "i need the right equipment" becomes "the tape is a label with extra steps"

twinpeaks if ur reading this DID U TRY THE CASSETTE YET I WILL LITERALLY DRIVE TO UR SISTER'S HOUSE WITH A BATTERY POWERED MICRO PLAYER IF NEEDED
