from an objective standpoint, this is exactly what you'd expect if you're looking for patterns. there are thousands of clocks in this city alone, and most of them work fine. but once you've decided that 4:47 is significant, your brain starts filtering out every other time and highlighting only the ones that match. it's called frequency illusion or the baader-meinhof phenomenon. basically, you notice things more often after you decide they matter. also cornfieldcrazy has been posting about "the same time" since september and hasn't actually verified if it's 4:47 or 4:37 or just whatever time was on the clock when she glanced at it.

im going to that wedding in june and checking that clock myself
