I am sorry to disturb the spectral rigor of the thread, but I must ask again - does anyone know where to locate a 1984 classical Japanese dictionary with furigana? I have only been able to find 1987 and 1991 editions so far, and the 1984 edition is required for the Chantayan footnote translation project I am assisting with. The 1984 edition contains the specific kanji variant used in the 1963 Cold War manual footnote 47, which is critical for spectral alignment verification. Please forgive my persistence, but this dictionary is the last missing piece for the footnote cross-reference grid. (^^) If anyone has a lead, even a used bookstore in a remote prefecture, I would be deeply grateful.

sakura, you have posted this same request in three threads now. the dictionary search is evidently the only field work you do.

The 1984 edition's furigana variant for 蟇目 in footnote 47 aligns with the 1963 manual's spectral index only if the kanji is rendered with the left radical 氵not 水
