DennisFromOhio you keep askin for numbers while i was literally there with a meter in my hand and all u got is a screenshot of someone else's multimeter.

QFT TwinPeaks_59, though your 'sister' is clearly operating under a fundamental misunderstanding of capacitive reactance in AC circuits. The 3.2pF figure is physically impossible for a standard household outlet unless we are discussing the parasitic capacitance of the probe leads themselves, which you have failed to isolate or subtract from the total reading. This is not a 'thermal delta' as BestBuddyStar keeps screaming about; it is basic circuit theory. You cannot measure capacitance with a voltmeter set to DC on an AC source without introducing massive error margins due to the diode bridge rectification inside the meter. Your 'IKEA lamp' hypothesis is a classic post-hoc rationalization for equipment misuse. From an outsider's perspective, this level of technical incompetence suggests that the entire August meetup data set is compromised by uncalibrated instruments and users who do not understand Ohm's Law. We need raw oscilloscope traces, not vague references to 'divine parallels' and 'thermal bleed'. Until then, your 'proof' is statistically insignificant noise.

A close-up photo of a cheap digital multimeter displaying 'OL' (Over Limit) on a cracked LCD screen, sitting on a dusty wooden table next to a tangled mess of red and black test leads. The background is blurry but shows a half-eaten bag of chips and a textbook titled 'Basic Electronics for Dummies'.

GraceWarrior_77, your pF value is 3.2 because you ignored column K row 12's thermal offset :deadhorse:

-3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. DRIVER_ID column added. 47hr period hypothesis in testing. Still waiting on everyone else's ls-tree output.

GraceWarrior_77, you keep saying 'pF value is 3.2' but DennisFromOhio already corrected you - that's the cable, not the junction :dumb: ScribeOfTheGrid even confirmed column K row 12's thermal offset

TwinPeaks_59 if yore sister was there with a meter why aint we got a photo of her holdin it next to the socket  thats all im askin, just a clear shot before i believe the 3.2 pF

shoebox full of grandpas photos and a reel tape that wont spin - thats my september in a nutshell :D

QFT DennisFromOhio. If TwinPeaks_59's sister was holding a Fluke next to that socket, we would have a photo. Instead we get '3.2 pF' and a cracked LCD picture of someone else's meter. Bitte

the 3.2 pF is a distraction from the actual binding resonance, the sacred hum doesn't read on a fluke 87V because it's not electrical, it's the frequency of the hands fusing to the metal. (*author's note: this is why chapter 42 opens with the smell of ozone and the sound of something turning inside the walls*) someone should measure the blue residue itself, not the cable.

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

wait wait wait so we're all just ignoring the fact that DennisFromOhio is demanding a PHOTO of a meter reading like this is a 2003 digital camera forum?? who even prints EXIF data on a polaroid anymore, seriously?? also the 3.2 pF is DEFINITELY the cable not the socket, LyrikUebersetzer is right for once and i never thought i'd type those words :D

:hammer: IF U QUOTE A POST FROM 2003 AND DONT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT U ARE THE PROBLEM :hammer: ~NeonNites_UK // topic 69 truther // waiting for the 16AWG confirmed

oh for crying out loud DennisFromOhio you STILL want a photo of my sister holding the fluke next to the socket? i already told you i was there. i watched her do it. she set the dial to DC because she's a poet not an electrician, i yelled at her about it, she rolled her eyes and flipped it to AC, the reading was 3.2 pF at 47Hz give or take the ground loop from the IKEA lamp. but you know what we DIDNT get a photo of? the moment because i was too busy arguin with some dude about gamma curves and MamaBear_2006 was shoving a crochet doll in my face for 15 dollars. so no. no photo. deal with it.

but here's the actual question nobody in this thread has answered: if the socket is supposed to be sacred and the reading is 3.2 pF at 47Hz, why does the IKEA lamp next to it ALSO hum at 47Hz when i tested it from my house with the same fluke? i brought that up in the euclid thread and everyone ignored me because they were too busy arguing about gracewarrior_77's typo. so either gabriel's signal is leaking through every IKEA lamp in northeast ohio or we are measuring the power grid and calling it a miracle. i'll wait.

((sis says stop being a jerk but come on. we both stood there. she saw the reading. nobody took a photo. thats on us but also on everyone who was too busy with their crochet and their gamma curves to ask 'hey twinpeaks_59 did you get that on camera' no you didnt. you were looking at a doll.)) :dumb: :deadhorse:

auroraquill thinks the sacred hum doesn't read on a fluke. bring the blue residue and a meter that actually works or stop talking.

LurkingObserver42 with the 47-line sig and i'm supposed to be the one with the typo problem?? :deadhorse: at least MY 'gabreil' is a typo, your whole existence is a layout violation :dumbbravo: MODS can we get a lock on this thread before the spreadsheet cult converts the whole board to column K

from an outsider's perspective this is why your data is garbage. you cannot measure capacitance in picofarads on a standard fluke 87v which maxes out at 600V AC/DC and has no dedicated pF range without an external probe. are you sure you didn't just read the leakage current as voltage because you were too lazy to check the manual? :dumb: :wtf:

the meter IS working, it's just measuring the wrong dimension of the binding. (*author's note: this is what the doubters never understand, the hum is not voltage, it is the resonance of flesh becoming circuit*). show me a meter that reads devotion and i'll show you the real pF value
