Board index » bus seat regression day 3 - sine phase locking confirmed, column K projection model incoming| ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1631 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | Right. Three data points now. Day 1 (Sep 30) - row 2 Day 2 (Oct 01) - row 5 Day 3 (Oct 02, today) - row 3 That's not random. That's a sine wave with approximately a 4-day period if I'm reading the phase correct. Day 1 row 2 (trough), day 2 row 5 (peak), day 3 row 3 (descending). Day 4 projects to row 2 or row 6 depending on whether the amplitude holds at 1.5 or snaps to 2. I need to check this against the bus driver roster in B2:B41 but I already noted the driver is the same Sep 22 baseline driver today so driver constancy holds. The variance is in ME, not in the system. Now the important part I cross-referenced my seat index against Gabriel's scrobble timestamps from the rustypod silence window. Column K is my raw local scrobble log offset against bus arrival delta. Here's what I've got: If I set the seat row as the y-axis and day index as x, and overlay Gabriel's scrobble spike on Sep 17 (9:02-9:06), the phase offset between my sine minimum (day 1, row 2) and that spike is exactly 13 days. 13 = 47 - 34. 34 = 2*17. The math keeps resolving to 47 factors no matter how I pivot I know EuroTrash_Herr666 is going to come in here and demand my column K cell value without posting a single measurement of his own since July. That's fine. I logged the raw data on my wrist - photo attached. Physical ink is harder to fabricate than a forum post timestamp. To anyone actually measuring: I need three more days of row data before the sine model reaches statistical significance (p < 0.05 on a two-tailed t-test against random distribution). If row 4 or row 6 appears tomorrow the wave is real. If row 1 appears the model needs recalibration but the SIGNAL is still there. Grammar_Vigil - if you're reading this, the axis unit on my chart is seat number (integer 1-8) and the time axis is UTC day index normalized to bus departure (9:13). I can provide the full lookup table if you post your own scrobble log with DST correction applied. More to follow when I finish the SUMIF against the Sep 17-22 scrobble cluster. | ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1631 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | SnowMaiden_1983 - fair hit on the backplate but you're mixing up the frequency anchor with the phase calibration column. The 47Hz backplate is in column H (physical artifact) not column K (scrobble offset projection). Two different spreadsheets entirely I can photograph the backplate with my flip phone tonight if it stops oscillating between row 3 and row 5 long enough for me to find the camera cable. But honestly the sine wave period resolving was MORE important today because if I nailed the phase projection before Thursday I can predict the Marching Bands of Manhattan scrobble window without needing the backplate at all - the backplate just confirms the carrier frequency after the fact GraceWarrior_77 you're still welcome to join the column K club when you post a hex dump that isn't from an 11th chapter that doesn't exist btw COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR |

I know three points is not proof. But I logged today's row 3 before I checked yesterday's row 5 in my notebook - I didn't know what the model would say until I got home and plotted it. That's the part you're missing. I'm not fitting the curve AFTER the data, I'm writing the projection BEFORE tomorrow's ride and seeing if it hits.
Thursday is the key. If row 4 or row 2 lands on Thursday AND Marching Bands of Manhattan scrobbles at an unusual hour, that's not pivoting until I get 47 - that's a populated coordinate system with a prediction window I can test. You'll see it when it happens or you won't. COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR |

But I locked my prediction BEFORE tomorrow's ride, not after. That's the methodology difference you're missing. Thursday row projection stands regardless of what the bus does.
Attached is today's seat photo - row 3, driver same as Sep 22 baseline, taken before I touched any spreadsheet. The oscillation pattern holds independent of my analysis.
Cross-ref this against Gabriel's scrobble from 12:47 today if you want actual column K traction. "Fifteen Step" hit at 12:47:02 per my Flip phone camera roll timestamp. The sandwich receipt from the new grocery store printed at 12:46:58. I didn't eat until 12:49 but the RECEIPT timestamp and the scrobble timestamp converge within 4 seconds. That's not random. I appreciate ScribeOfTheGrid doin the work. I really do. The man logs data, he thinks about it, he posts it. That's more than some folks on this board do But the problem I got is the same one I got with Kael_Vs_Chantayan and his April 2006 hex dump that aint materialized in 24 weeks - the proof is always "comin soon" or "projected for Thursday" or "right after I find the cable." Scribe, I believe you believe what you're sayin. But three bus rides where the driver was the same twice and you sat in different rows - that's a Tuesday, that's not a sine wave. You could sit in row 2 three days in a row and then row 5 on day 4 and that would be MORE of a pattern than this, y'know? The sandwich receipt and the scrobble timestamp within 4 seconds IS interestin. I'll give you that one. That's the kinda thing that makes me keep readin these threads. But a receipt prints at the grocery store register time, not at the actual second - those things are synced to the store server not to NIST. So the 4 second gap could be the register clock bein fast or slow and you wouldn't know without checkin the store's time source I aint sayin stop postin. I'm sayin I been burned too many times on "just wait for Thursday" promises from this board. Show me the backplate photo tonight like you said. Then I'll take the sine wave more serious.
