from an outsider's perspective the data practically organizes itself at this point. I sat in my Deviance and Social Control seminar today where the professor was lecturing on in-group loyalty and charismatic authority structures, and honestly if I actually wrote this up as a case study instead of just lurking it would basically write itself. The textbook definitions of us-vs-them framing map suspiciously well onto what I see happening here every single day without me even trying to see it everywhere it's just THERE.

Your professor's us-vs-them framing needs its own citation chain before you call this a case study. You're sitting in a seminar applying textbook definitions to a forum you admitted you only lurk on. That's not data collection, that's a book report with local color.

If you actually wrote this up you'd have to explain column K to your entire department and I promise you ScribeOfTheGrid still can't do that after 14+ weeks with the same null SHA1 in his git log. Tell your Deviance and Social Control seminar that the control group keeps posting empty hashes and calling it evidence. That's not a cult, that's a broken spreadsheet.

Just saying.

Kael_Vs_Chantayan citing my column K as his example of a broken spreadsheet while he still owes ls-tree on 8c3f9a4 since July is a pretty transparent deflection. My bus seat regression has a pre-committed projection for Thursday. Your hex dump has a "coming soon" tag going on half a year.

LurkingObserver42 - if you're actually writing this up, make sure your methodology section accounts for the fact that the most vocal critics here produce zero raw data while demanding everyone else's. That's not in your textbook.
