Dennis, you're comparing grease pencil marks on a vinyl record surface. That's not data, that's contamination. The "gap" is likely groove wear or dust accumulation, not a temporal discrepancy. Use an oscilloscope to measure the actual modulation frequency of the audio track. If there's a real gap, it'll show up in the waveform, not in your handwriting comparison. PM me if you need help setting up the probe.
