so i was digging through the belt bin at the salvation army on my lunch break and one of those big woven leather belt loops had a crumpled receipt shoved under the buckle flap. pulled it out and it was from some hardware store in a totally different state - handwritten 4:47pm in ballpoint on the back. like someone deliberately wedged it in there. no register number no total just 4:47 on old yellowed carbon-copy paper. i kept the belt obviously lol but like... 4:47 AGAIN. i swear i cant buy a used belt without something falling out of it anymore

kaylas_desk that is a neat find for sure  the 4:47 in ballpoint keeps showin up everywhere i guess. but i gotta ask - no date on the receipt at all? just the time? seems odd a hardware store would write a time without a date on their own carbon copy. unless it wasnt the store that wrote it and somebody just scribbled it later. you got a magnifyin glass to check if the ink matches the faded part? allways good to verify these things i think.

Dennis this is exactly what I was thinking too!!! yes!!! you have to look at whether the ink has soaked INTO the paper the same way the printed part has, if somebody scribbled it recently it will just sit on top and look dark and shiny yes??? And no date on a hardware store carbon copy is so suspicious to me, why would the store write only a time??? Unless the time is the whole point and the person KNEW 4:47 would be found someday you know??? kaylas_desk please do not wash the belt until we know, the ink could still be tested!!

An *un*duly suspicious question, and one I find I must agree with  A receipt without a date is not a receipt, it is a scribble, and treating a scribble as data is precisely the epistemic hygiene this board lacks. Kaylas, I would like a photograph of this belt before anyone builds a column on it, preferably with a ruler in the frame -- ScribeOfTheGrid can lend you his, provided he still has it after the onion incident :P

"totally different state" isn't a cell value, kaylas. If you're not gonna give the STATE_NAME column, what am I supposed to cross-ref against? A belt receipt with no state is like a timestamp with no timezone - it's a ROW with a missing key field :dumb:

SnowMaiden_1983 wrote:you know???:angel::pray::cheers2:

Please do not take a measurement question (ink depth, paper density, state origin) and turn it into a prayer circle. Ink depth IS data. Treating it as communion is why I can't run SUMIF on 3/4 of the board's artifact posts :banghead::banghead:

GraceWarrior_77 wrote:ballpoint on a belt puck :dumb:

Grace could you at least tell me which hand the ballpoint ink leans toward - blue-black or black-blue? That's a pH-level distinction that narrows the MANUFACTURING_YEAR column

COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR

what hardware store in what state prints a receipt with no date and only a time i think that detail matters more than ink depth

scribestill asking for state column while forgetting he owes column K from hidden_sheet.csv is the kind of spreadsheet theater that makes me trust a flea market belt more than his bus schedules :D

a belt buckle with a scribbled time i can hold in my hand. scribe's column K has been "coming" for 38 threads. tonight i know which object has more proof.

It is *supposed* to be, and I will thank you to type your own words I notice you said "proof sposed" and not a single word about your own missing moon phase answer, which is now roughly twenty-six days overdue  :hammer:

kaylas_desk keep that belt unwashed, the ink is the only witness we got until someone cross-refs the ballpoint dye batch :P ((sis says the carbon-copy paper yellowness matters more than the ink because paper ages 47x faster than ink in direct light and this is why she's the one who finds stuff at thrift stores and I'm the one who loses the adapter under the car seat))

ScribeOfTheGrid asking for STATE_NAME on a belt receipt from an undated hardware store carbon copy is like asking for the tire pressure on a car that hasn't moved since 1999 - you're technically correct and also missing the point that the receipt exists at all, in a belt, with 4:47 on it, which is more physical proof than column K has ever been

anyway the adapter is IN THE CUPHOLDER. lamp tape this weekend. sharpie star on my hand says SATURDAY. if I don't post waveform by Sunday midnight Oct 8 FlameFury24 gets to sticky a "liar confirmed" on his collage which is MOTIVATION ENOUGH :D

BigRig CONFIRMED the 47.3hz WAV hash 10/21. Debt cleared. FF24's paperclip drawer still empty at day 112. I got the spectral, you got the sticky note. - TwinPeaks_59 (M&J, same terminal)

kaylas_desk - the 4:47 belt find is a better artifact than anything Grace has posted in six months. at least you can hold it.

Dennis signed as Dennes again. three hours on his clock radio still unexplained. but sure keep asking about ink depth.

14:47 says 4:47. open the system tray, Dennes. :peugeot:

blyad Grammar_Vigil U think ink depth is the only thing that matters?? U think the STATE_NAME column is gonna save U when the belt itself is a 47Hz vessel?? the 4:47 isnt a timestamp U IDIOT it is the CARRIER WAVE the DATE is the MODULATION U CANT SEE THE DIFFERENCE?? DO NOT IGNORE ME :hammer:

7 JEANS = 47 HZ = 47 STITCHES = 47 MINUTES = 47% MOISTURE = 47°F = 47px AVATAR WIDTH  :cheeky:
