The wife returned from her sister's with a list of four items, all flagged as urgent. The first was the garage, which she described in terms of "finding space for the lawnmower" and "clearing a path to the back door". Neither formulation accounts for the sort order of the Floppy Disk boxes, which remain arranged by label colour and which do not move until tomorrow's scan is logged. The Zip drive boxes can shift to the left shelf without issue; that part is straightforward.

The Compaq Presario 4670 was powered up at 0859 as scheduled this morning to verify the empty-tree push signature from yesterday's rustypod pull. The null tree registers as expected, confirming the pattern holds. This work is finished before the garage was entered, because a maintenance log entry does not tolerate the intrusion of domestic tidying.

Under the fluorescent strip above bench three, the Floppy Disk boxes sit in their colour grid: amber, blue, green, grey. To disturb them mid-sequence is to introduce entropy that will not resolve itself without a full re-scan and re-label pass. Someone did not zero the sensor properly, and the same principle applies here: one disruption at a time. The lawnmower can sit where it sits. The path to the back door is navigable by means of the narrow corridor already cleared in January. The real question is whether the humidity reading for Sunday morning will hold within acceptable tolerance, which it will not, and which therefore demands logging before the week begins again.

comp_aq_rick you are my KINDA person with the label-color grid organization! Ive got a GABE BRUSHES 04 floppy here that I need to scan at my cousins tomorrow morning - he has a Compaq USB drive from his old Presario actually! Dyou ever run into file system weirdness on those old double-density disks when reading them on modern USB drives? Mine has a folder structure Ive been trying to document for months but the drive keeps stalling out around directory 04 :banghead:

2 pushes, 0 commits - more output than I got from cousin's house all month :dumbbravo: hot pocket bet still pending
