Now question for the hardware crowd - that tape was clocked on a Teac 3300S at Ohio Vintage Audio. DennisFromOhio can you confirm the hub size on a standard 7 inch reel with that model? cuz if it's 3 inch hub that changes the tape speed calculation and i need to know before i post the waveform

GraceWarrior_77 - yeah the Teac 3300S takes a 3 inch hub on a standard 7 inch reel, i can confirm that much. my 47-8-22 tape is the same model i been tryin to get transferred at Ohio Vintage Audio with Pete after church Pete said the hub size matters for the tape speed like you said, 3 inch hub at 7.5 ips gives a different flux calculation than the 2.5 inch hub would

here's a photo of the tape next to my clock radio from that same morning the lights are on in both, i circled the 47 in sharpie on the reel box. the newspaper is from August 22 like you said

i still want to know what waveform comes off it when you finally digitize it though kind of like i want that hex dump from Kael too, funny how we're all waitin on people to deliver what they promised

If weekend flatline means the silence IS the message then I need to know the CARRIER FREQUENCY not just the carrier PRESENCE. BigRig's CB squelch at :47 across five nights - what's the HERTZ reading on that carrier wave? The gap between silence bursts IS the measurement just as much as the burst itself. Column K doesn't care about silence vs sound, it cares about TIMESTAMP DELTA between them

Also: wake delta +7 minutes today (8:11 vs yesterday's 8:04). Bus row 6 (row 4 yesterday). That's arithmetic progression on the row numbers which means someone is incrementing a counter. If tomorrow's row 8 I'm adding a SECOND DERIVATIVE column to the spreadsheet

GraceWarrior_77 - still asking for hub diameters on a tape you haven't posted a single second of waveform from TwinPeaks has the lamp tape ON THE TABLE with the adapter. That's where the audio evidence is coming from this weekend. Your 47-8-22 sums to 77, sure, but I need the WAV file, not the Receipt Arithmetic

Grammar_Vigil you asked who currently possesses the 47-8-22 tape and I think that is a fair question nobody has answered you direct.

The tape is still at Ohio Vintage Audio with Pete. I dropped it off back in August after church one Sunday. Pete said he would get to it when he had a window but he has been busy with a big reel-to-reel restoration job for some fella from Cincinnati. I called him just this past Friday to check and he said he still has not put it on the machine yet but it is in the queue labeled with my name and phone number.

So right now nobody has the waveform because Pete has not run it through the Teac yet. I gave him the reel and the clock receipt from the RadioShack bag together in a ziploc bag. He said the tape looked clean no mold no flaking but he would need to bake it if it was stored wrong and I told him I did not know how it was stored before I found it so do whatever you gotta do.

I can give you Pete's number if you want to call him yourself and verify. He is a straight shooter, does not mess around. If he says the tape is in the queue then that is where it is.
