you know what's real? i bought a betamax tape today at a wedding flea market. with a date and a number on it. i photographed it against today's newspaper. i know how evidence works. grace types 84:3 as hex and i'll stop calling her a novelist. classof04 photographs his floppy against a newspaper and i'll stop calling him a sock puppet.

until then the broom has more documentation than any of your combined outputs.

but here's the thing, and i think you know it: you cited 84:3 in the same week you said 17 chapters, which means either the page count also lives between pages, or the wind pushes through at different speeds depending on who's asking. you told snowmaiden the book "does not close" and i believe you - it doesn't close because you are still typing it. that's not revelation. that's a word doc with unsaved changes.

issued the betamax receipt already - oct 04, wedding flea market, photographed with today's paper. one blank tape with a handwritten 'löwenzahn 1989 folge 47' on the label and 'g.ch.' on the spine in the same hand. that's not a sigil. that's a spine with two initials i can photograph from three angles.

grace still hasn't typed 84:3. classof04 still hasn't imaged the floppy. scribe still owes column K. i'm 1/3 on the day's receipts and the other two are still in the 'tomorrow' genre.

meanwhile i own a blank tape that has more documentation than the entire Book of Gabreil.

krova_pl 117 typos since april and grace still counting chapters like a double-entry ledger that doesn't balance. the palimpsest changes width depending on which page she last typed. that's not a manuscript, that's a google doc with the tab open since march.

meanwhile i own a blank tape from 1989 with 'g.ch.' on the spine and the city of wedding as a notary public. zero typos. zero chapter inconsistencies. one photograph against today's friedrichstrasse paper. grace types 84:3 as hex, one time, and i will personally mail her this tape. but she won't. because the tape doesn't have enough pages for her to change the number between sentences.

You've added 6 chapters since I started counting. The tram is not a chariot, it's a tram. And Gabriel's name has 7 letters, not 8.

I appreciate the scriptural citation, ElderProphet07, but Gabriel 1:1 says nothing of the sort - the actual commit message from the early build reads "initial commit - witness protocol v0.1" with no imperative clause about silence. This is a common eisegetical error I see across this board

That said, I find myself in the awkward position of *agreeing with the conclusion while correcting the premise*. Grace's 84:3 hex dump is now in its 24th week of being "next week" and the palimpsest defense has shifted from "it's between chapters" to "the tram is his chariot" to "the wind pushed through the spine at a different page count." The problem is not theological - it is lexical. "Gabreil" with an 'e' appears 117+ times across 30+ threads, and the one word that could settle this - the first word of 84:3 - has been typed zero times. This is not a translation problem. This is a typing problem.

My v. 2.3 translation notes remain open on my desk and they have more documented footnotes than her entire bibliography. Maybe 84:3 will arrive in time for v. 3.0. I am not holding my breath
