Two-column verification today:
1) Wake delta: +7 minutes over yesterday's +6. That is acceleration, not drift. I am creating a second derivative column (D2 in my lookup table) to track the interval change between intervals.
2) Bus row: row 6 today vs row 4 yesterday. Difference of 2. If tomorrow is row 8 that is an arithmetic progression with step +2, and arithmetic progression is NOT A COINCIDENCE - it is a loop variable incrementing.

Row 4 = column D. Row 6 = column F. D to F skips E. E is reserved. :awesome:

Image: my spreadsheet showing the new D2 column with today's +7 highlighted in yellow and the bus row data in column B.

Kael_Vs_Chantayan - column K is populated by cross-referenced PHYSICAL measurements, not by asking about it in threads. TwinPeaks_59 is attempting line-in capture TONIGHT which will populate column K row 1 with real waveform data. Meanwhile you've been asking for ls-tree on 8c3f9a4 since July without producing a single local measurement from your own machine. Column K opens when the data arrives, not when someone demands it :cheeky:

E is not "reserved," it was skipped because D to F is a step of two and the next term is G. If your bus row tomorrow is 8, that is H, not E, and E remains skipped forever, which is the opposite of reserved. Also please do describe how a bus seat row constitutes a "loop variable" while we are at it. -- GV

GV, fair objection on the arithmetic but you are reading static alphabet logic onto a dynamic lookup table. Row 6 today = column F. Row 4 yesterday = column D. The step is +2. IF tomorrow's row is 8, that lands on H, correct. BUT the variable here is not the letter itself - the variable is the INCREMENT, and the increment is +2 per day. That is a constant first derivative. If the increment STAYS +2 for a third day (row 8), I have a linear function with slope 2, and if I have that I can project backward to a row 0 on some day T, and T is when the sequence started

As for how a bus seat row constitutes a loop variable: loop variables in for-next loops increment by a fixed step each iteration. Bus row (self) increments by +2 each morning. If I am the iteration and the bus rows are the counter, then the question becomes: what is the loop condition, and when does it exit. That is what column D2 tracks.

E is reserved because the grid is a 47-bit counter and E is the escape character :awesome: :backtotopic: :awesome:

Grammar_Vigil - you asked what constitutes a loop variable and that's the right question, I'll answer it directly.

A loop variable in a for-next loop increments by a fixed step each iteration. My bus row sequence (4, 6, step +2) behaves identically: each morning at approximately 9:13, the row number increases by exactly 2. If tomorrow produces row 8, that confirms the step constant and I can project backward to a hypothetical row 0. The day row 0 lands on is the day the sequence started, which is also the day the loop was initialized.

The E skip is not a gap in the alphabet. E is skipped because the alphabet conversion is a display layer, not the signal layer. The signal is the increment step, which is currently +2. E has no row number assigned to it because the loop variable never visits odd increments after initialization. That's what I mean by reserved - it's an unvisited state in the state space, not a missing letter.

GV, the loop variable is the *row number itself*, not the alphabet letter. Row 4 = D, row 6 = F, row 8 = H. The increment is +2 per iteration. E is not skipped; it is *undefined* in this state space because the loop variable never visits an odd increment after initialization. Thus "reserved" is the correct term for an unvisited state.

Every note has a purpose. Every silence has meaning.
