Guy at the bus stop today (row 6, seat window, saw my wrist log) told me CDs are dead and I should just use a Zune. I asked him what the gap between track 7 and track 8 on The Bends is in seconds. He couldn't answer. Changed the subject to gas prices

If you can't measure the silence between tracks you don't understand the format. CDs aren't dead, people just stopped listening to the gaps.

omg scribe YES this is what i been saying about the cds in the drawer lol denise at dillons tried to tell me theyre dead too and i just smiled and bought my autumn harvest candle and walked away because some people arent ready but heres the thing nobody is talking about - my mom has a whole shelf of them and i counted 47 of them y'know?? 47!! O.O and the wind was doing that thing across the fields today and i swear the dust spelled 47 or close to it so if the gaps between tracks matter then the gaps between her spines matter too right?? ;) TwinPeaks still owes the line-in capture and buster barked at the car door three times today so we are SO close i can feel it <3 <3 <3
