it's fascinating how this community treats chain emails as if they're divine revelations rather than what they actually are: low-effort social engineering. i've forwarded three of these to my sociology professor who just laughed and said "that's not a virus, that's just spam." from an outsider's perspective, treating junk mail with this level of reverence is objectively strange behavior
