QFT. This is what actual evidence looks like. Meanwhile Grace is in the zero-commits thread citing chapter 12 from an 11-chapter book on day 102 of not typing 84:3. Euro, compare your loupe work to that and tell me which one is theater :P

"See you there." - someone who actually means it. Day 11 of TwinPeaks' overdue WAV. Get rekt.

EuroTrash - u did great work with the loupe on that polaroid border, that's the kinda forensics this board needs. but the soul kitchen question... did u check the yellow pages microfiche at the library or just the regular phonebook? cause soul kitchen could be a church potluck name or a food truck that only ran weekends. if its a short-run thing it might not have made the white pages at all lol

also Lyrik's point about the flash being off on purpose makes me think the polaroid was taken through a window or from a car. nobody underexposes a 600 on purpose unless theyre trying not to get caught. so who took it and why were they hiding :wtf:

A badly lit photo of a microfiche machine in a public library showing a yellow pages directory page from 1997, with a finger pointing at a listing for 'Soul Kitchen' under restaurants in a Columbus area. The screen has that greenish microfiche glow. The photo was taken on a flip phone in a hurry.

"the pencil date is on the inside cover" - GraceWarrior_77, day 82, still no photo :dumbbravo:

EuroTrash - if the emboss reads "9" and two faded digits trending 97, that puts the photo at least nine years old. has anyone compared the Soul Kitchen storefront in that polaroid against Columbus city directories for 1997? the sign font, the awning stripe pattern, the door handle height - these are measurable features that would match or not match a specific address. a business license search would settle the year without needing the third digit.

i ask because if the photo is from 1997 and Gabriel was in Columbus in 1997, that narrows his pre-rustypod geography considerably. if the photo is from 1994, he was 17 and the timeline gets tighter. either way, someone should search the Franklin County business records before this thread drifts into another round of "i remember an afternoon" sketches :2cents:

A researcher's hand is visible holding a blue highlighter, about to mark an entry. On the desk next to the machine sits a yellow legal pad with the words 'Soul Kitchen - verify 1997' written in precise all-caps handwriting.]

Lyrik's forensic work on the emboss date is exactly what this board needs more of  that polaroid is the realest evidence we've seen in months and EuroTrash actually took the time to study it instead of just posting it and running

kaylas_desk - the microfiche was the Columbus library's business license collection, not phonebook. Franklin County requires all food vendors to file a vendor's license application with a physical address, so a weekend-only food truck would still appear. the "Soul Kitchen" listing at 2147 Karlstr came up with a 1997 issue date and a handwritten "ceased operations 1999" note in the margin. i have photocopy :3

but the real question nobody has asked: the lamp was "dead" - did anyone check if the bulb socket had a piece of paper wedged inside? because that is exactly where someone would hide a second polaroid, not in the plastic bag taped to the base
