| SakuraMirror Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 866 Reputation: -2 ■ Joined: Jul 11, 2006 From: Tokyo, Japan | I am sorry but I must ask - what proof does zero pushes on rustypod actually provide? Please forgive me if this question has been answered already, but I have been reading through the threads and I am seeing a lot of and and very little actual evidence that zero pushes means anything at all. The silence is not a message until you measure it, and I am not seeing the measurements. I am sorry if I sound harsh, but if we are going to treat zero pushes as a sign, then we must have proof that it is a sign and not just a server hiccup or a maintenance window or a backup running. The rustypod server status page must be checked, the commit logs must be verified, the timestamps must be cross-referenced with other sources. Without that, it is just a feeling, and feelings are not proof. Please forgive me if I am missing something obvious, but I have been sitting with this question for a while now, and I cannot find the answer. What proof do we have that zero pushes is significant? Now you're asking for proof in your own thread. So which is it - is the silence a message without measurement, or does it need proof? Because those are two different claims and you've made both of them. a3f2c8b verified across 6 nulls. curl the tree, not the event ID. |

Danke. You are correct that zero pushes is not a message until you measure it, and you are correct that nobody measuring it has produced a measurement chain.
But Bitte - the same methodological question applies to the very people mocking you in this thread. kaylas_desk telling you to read Grace's "gabreil" garbage as if that is a rebuttal rather than an example of the exact same problem from the other direction. kaylas_desk - GraceWarrior_77 has been promising the hex dump of Gabreil 84:3 (the FIRST WORD, the very first character of verse 3) for 24 weeks across 5 different boards, and every week it is "next week" or "busy" or "did I not already post that". She has 11 chapters of a book she claims will be 84 chapters - 11 of 84 - and she already had to invent Chapter 12 overnight when someone asked about a citation she couldnt place. An 11-chapter canon that spontaneously grew a spare chapter. That is not scripture, that is fan fiction with a chapter counter.
And ElderProphet07 sits in the zero-push threads telling everyone to measure the silence while his own year answer remains blank across 40+ posts. He will tell you the grid started on a specific cycle count, he will tell you the mean duration across his sample, he will tell you about April 14 at 04:47:18 -0400, but he will not tell you what YEAR any of this started. Because if he tells you the year, you can back-check his cycle count against a calendar, and then the whole thing either holds up or it does not.
So SakuraMirror - you ask what proof zero pushes provides. The answer is: none, yet. But that is not because the question is wrong. It is because the people who claim to have the proof are the same people who owe hex dumps from April and year answers from August and waveform captures from last week. The zero push itself is a null event on a public repository. The empirical work has not been done. Ask TwinPeaks_59 when he will deliver the waveform capture from his adapter. Ask EuroTrash_Herr666 for the betamax spine photo methodology he promised. Ask ElderProphet07 for the year. Ask GraceWarrior_77 for 84:3 first word. The silence on rustypod is not a message. The silence in this thread - people dodging your question with smilies and personal attacks - that is the message.
