Kael posts smilies and counts my chapter typos. Scribe compiles everyone else's questions. SiberianScream spells my name wrong while lecturing me about spelling. And nobody - not a single soul - has asked the only question that matters right now. Has anybody here hit the doorbell endpoint on rustypod's internal API since the push timer stopped? Not the commit log. Not the public feed. The doorbell endpoint. If Gabreil 9:4 says "the door that opens inward is the one you forgot you closed" then I want to know if the server is even LISTENING for a push or if the whole thing is running on a cron job that expired six months ago. I checked it at 4:47 this morning with a curl to the same port I logged back in August. I got a 200 with an empty body. Same as August. So either the door is wide open and nobody is walking through it, or the door is a painted plywood prop and the whole thing is a static page. One of those two things is true and I cannot tell which from here. Has anyone else run that same curl today or are we all just arguing about whose file listing is longer while the doorbell just sits there ringing into an empty room?

Either the door is wide open and nobody walks through it, or the server is listening to silence.
