yall know the grind. u set the coffeemaker before u go to bed, u stumble out at 6:45, u pour it into the travel mug, u get in the car, u hit every red light on 12th, u park, u walk in, u clock in, u sit down... and then u take that first sip and its COLD. like room temp. like the universe just decided your morning joy was negotiable. well this morning i walked in, sat down, took the lid off, and it was actually still hot enough to see steam. i just sat there for a solid thirty seconds staring at it like... is this what normal people feel like? lol. gabriel talks about presence of mind and being awake in the moment and i think having a warm coffee at your desk at 9:14am is honestly the most present ive felt in months. just a little pocket of things actually working.
