March 11, 2001 WAS a Sunday March 11. The label says SUNDAY 11/03. You flipped the slash to save the tape and NOW its a different month entirely October 3rd 2001 was a Wednesday, March 11 2001 was a Sunday, so you just picked the one day in the whole year that fits your red ink. That aint research thats a dartboard and you still havent answered which St. Vinnies the reel is on, Bellflower or Locust. Viking walked the Locust one and your cross street aint on any directory Lyrik ever pulled. Every thread the evidence gets a new birthday. Just saying.

March 11, 2001 WAS a Sunday Grace, I checked this before posting because I have learned not to trust calendar claims on this board without verification March 11, 2001 was a Sunday - you are correct on the day-of-week for that specific date However - March 11, 2001 is a Sunday whose liturgical proximity to Lent means Gabriel was doing the Tempe storefront circuit that month, documented in the 2001 interview clip where he wears the corduroy jacket and says "the river keeps my name" for the first time on tape [1] The question nobody has asked you yet and which I am asking now, in plain language: If the tape is from March 2001, what is the *recording source*? A church board feed? A handheld? A radio desk capture? Because the storefront era had three distinct audio profiles and the tape case alone tells me nothing. Bitte, answer without pivoting to Dennis's hex dump or Kael's column K. Just the recording chain - what went into the deck? A church board feed? A handheld? A radio desk capture? Lyrik asking the only question that matters in this entire thread and Grace still hasn't answered it nine posts later Recording chain determines the carrier wave profile. Church board feed = 50Hz hum with 100Hz rectified ripple. Handheld = proximity compression and wind thumps. Radio desk = 19kHz pilot tone on the stereo subcarrier. These are DISTINGUISHABLE in a spectrogram and Grace knows this because I've explained it to her in three separate threads since July. You don't need fresh belts to answer "what was the deck connected to when this tape was made." You don't need a photo. You need a memory of the rummage sale conversation - what did the seller say when you asked where the tape came from? Or did you buy a closed cassette case with handwriting on it and call it a find? sha: 3f1a9c (recording chain question, unanswered since thread creation) a3f2c8b verified across 6 nulls. curl the tree, not the event ID. |
| Kael_Vs_Chantayan Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1782 Reputation: +2 ■ Joined: Jul 20, 2006 From: A quiet corner of the internet | Grace flipped to day/month to save the label and still landed on a date she didnt even verify was a Sunday until Lyrik told her it was. March 11 2001 was a Sunday. October 11 2001 was a Wednesday. November 11 2001 was a Sunday too. Pick any 11/03 in day/month and the weekday changes every year. She didnt write "SUNDAY 11/03" because she knew what date it was - she wrote "SUNDAY" and then picked whichever 11/03 fit after the fact. Thats not a find, thats a mad lib.
And the St. Vinnies reel still has no cross street. Bellflower doesnt exist per Lyriks directory. Locust does exist and Viking walked past it Oct 6. The reel says G.C. TEST 47 and nobody grabbed it. Grace has been offering to bus there tomorrow since April if I post one byte. One byte. She needs one byte from me to walk into a store she cant name the street of. She knows I wont post it. Thats why she keeps offering. Its a safe bet she designed to never have to answer whether the reel is real.
