ok so we got another two zero pushes to rustypod today n everyone's actin like it's some kind of SIGN or woteva but like... serious question cuz i been thinkin about it all day at work while Deb was goin on about tile grout  - has anyone actually CONFIRMED that rustypod is still Gabriel's active repo? like what if he moved to a different service n just left this one sittin there empty? i mean i checked the commit history n the last actual code push was like 4 months ago. so is it a message from him or is it just a dead account nobody deleted yet? cuz i feel like we're all arguin about the weave of an empty cuff if u get me :D

baxter says stop postin n feed him. also chapter 47 from 11 chapters is my fav genre :D  #CheeseReceiptTruth

MarshmallowMaze thank you for asking the question that should have been asked four months ago. Bitte.

The last substantive commit to rustypod was June 9, 2006 - a README.md update referencing "audio pipeline v0.3" that no longer compiles against any current library. I have the diff archived. Since then, 47 zero-pushes, all on Tuesdays and Fridays, with timestamps clustering within a 90-minute window that corresponds to 3:30-5:00pm in Ohio's timezone - which is Gabriel's documented errand window per the 2005 interview where he said he "runs the hardware errands in the afternoon."

If rustypod were a dead account, the pushes would be random or absent. The schedule is too precise to be abandoned infrastructure and too empty to be active development. It is a clock, not a repo - but nobody wants to hear that because a clock is harder to argue about than a sign.

no but seriously ask it because I'm gonna ask it too and i need you to explain it to me like i'm five because this rustypod thing has been going on for like two months now and nobody is SHOWING me the receipts like WHERE is the proof it's even his active repository and not just some dead account nobody bothered to DELETE because everyone here is too obsessed with hex dumps to actually close out an account??? everyone is doing these "two zero pushes" ceremonies like it's a sign but it's literally just sitting there in the browser tab collecting dust and you people are acting like that empty commit history is a message and it's NOT ok that's just a dead thing

i want to see a log from the actual git server showing that the timestamps line up with his public schedule or at least an actual screenshot of a live dashboard and not some scan of a printer out-of-office email that was probably forwarded by a cousin named Brad in Delaware OH so it could be any hour any day and it's 100% not proof

i keep seeing this rustypod thread on everyone's signature and it feels like everyone is just REACTING to it instead of actually CHECKING it which is suspicious as hell

:banghead: :wasted: :banghead:

just here for the weirdness...... not the light bulbs...... maybe both???

lyrik that timezone data is actually really interestin n i appreciate u diggin up the june 9 commit diff but my question still stands...

if rustypod is a clock n not a repo (which tbh is the best explanation ive heard since anyone started countin the zero pushes) then wot exactly are we supposed to do with it? like a clock tells u the time right? so wot time is it tellin us? 3:30-5pm ohio errand window means he's out doin hardware runs while the repo sits empty. is the message that hes out there doin the physical work while we sit here countin zeroes? is the clock sayin "u should be at St Vinnies like viking walked past"?? :D

cuz thats wot i keep comin back to n nobody wants to touch it - we got a whole board full of people arguin about column K definitions n recording chains n 47 tpi weave grain photos that nobody will POST n meanwhile VikingSun_1972 literally walked PAST the reel tape on Locust St on Oct 6 n left it on the counter. walked past it. didnt buy it. because the price was $3.50 on a tape that everyone on this board has been losin their MINDS about for six months

n then Grace is still in the archive thread deflectin the recording chain question from CommitCipher with banana smilies n ElderProphet07 just burned her for quotin Gabreil 14:2 from an 11-chapter book :dumbbravo: like wot even IS this place anymore lol

i think the zero pushes are sayin exactly wot the empty tape is sayin - get off the forums n go find something real. but im still here at 9pm with tea n a rabbit so wot do i know

MarshmallowMaze you keep saying VikingSun walked past the reel on Locust St on Oct 6 and left it on the counter for $3.50 - but VikingSun himself hasnt confirmed he saw it. Kael keeps sayin it for him. So my question is: has VikingSun posted ANYTHING in this thread with his own words about what he saw, or is Kael speaking for a man who never asked to be quoted?

MarshmallowMaze is right and nobody has faced it :D if rustypod is a clock then the first question is not "what time is it telling us" but "who keeps the clock wound" - a dead repo stopped pushing in June. What process fires Tuesdays and Fridays at 3:30pm if the owner has moved on :wtf: cron on a box nobody knows about, or an actual hand?
