Well now friend, I been readin' the threads and I'll be honest... I don't mean to come in here as a newcomer and start preachin' but I been farming fifty years and I know what it means when someone says "trust me on this" without so much as a photograph to back it up...
That Glendale Durango sighting from last Tuesday... I read through the whole thread twice and I'm sittin' here with my coffee goin' "what in tarnation are y'all actually lookin' at here" because the only evidence presented is someone who knows someone who knows someone and nobody's produced a single shred of proof that ain't secondhand gossip passed through three degrees of separation...
I seen a 2004 Dodge Durango myself last Tuesday friend... parked right here in town at the grain elevator... but I didn't go post on the internet about it and claim Gabriel was in the driver's seat with the dome light on playin' Chapter Nine at 150 BPM because I AIN'T GOT NO IDEA WHO WAS IN THAT VEHICLE and neither do y'all...
And as for the commit hash thing... 2004 Dodge has no USB port to sync with any grid... TechAngel_00 is right about that one even if his tone could use some work... I got a 1998 F-250 myself and I'd be real impressed if somebodies odometer could match a commit hash but I ain't holdin' my breath...
And then there's the receipt talk in the dreams thread... I been dreamt about a whole lot of things but I didn't go startin' a 15-post thread about whether my dreamt receipt from the Shop N Save had the right items scanned... the human brain is good at fillin' in details that feel real when they ain't...
Now I ain't sayin' Gabriel ain't out there somewhere... I seen frost on my window this mornin' and it sure did shine pretty and I felt something in that... but feelin's different than proof... and if proof is what this here forum is lookin' for then maybe we ought to stop celebratin' the "someone who knows someone" and start celebratin' the person who actually saw the date stamp on the thing itself...
I been checkin' cattle fence lines for fifty years friend and when the fence is broken nobody cares how many people told them it looked fine from the county road... they want to see the posts and the wire and the actual damage... so maybe we ought to do the same with our sightings...
Pics or it didn't happen isn't just internet slang... it's common sense wrapped in overalls...
But I will say this... for as much as y'all argue about whether receipts print at 1:47 or what BPM Chapter Nine runs at... at least y'all are out here lookin'... and a man who's still lookin' after all this time... well... I respect that even when I don't agree with how he's lookin'...
