so i been sitting here with my second cup of coffee and watching this thread about who has a tape and who has a waveform and who has a dead battery walkie that plays abuela's prayers and i finally have to say something even though i know nobody is going to like it

the problem, if anyone will actually read this without scrolling past to the next smiley war, is that siberianstar99's novosibirsk signal from april has never once been pinned to a time zone. i asked about this in a thread back in may or june and got a :peugeot: face and a deflection. but here is what keeps me up at night: if the 1:47 signal is supposed to be universal or divine or whatever, why does it matter whether it's local or ohio time? unless the people posting the numbers are just hitting their microwave clocks and calling it a sign.

speaking of clocks, i replaced the ballast in my garage fixture this morning because it was flickering at exactly the wrong frequency to make me think about gabriel every time i walked past the car. now it's a nice steady 60hz hum and guess what? no signal. no song from the radio. just silence and a higher electric bill. so maybe the people who built the euclid kiln or whatever should check their ground loops before they start calling 47 a sacred number. my daughter's old usb charger had a ground loop hum that sounded exactly like guardiaodanoite's dead walkie description and she was just trying to play minecraft. :XD:

also bigrigbeliever you keep promising a tape from nebraska but you only ever post beer emoticons and radio jargon. where is the file? where is the upload? i have a 2gb flash drive and a dialup connection that is slow but not that slow. if you have a tape, host it somewhere. if you don't, maybe admit you were just excited about a static pop and a full moon. i have been wrong about things before. my whole introduction to this forum was literally a mistake about a family tree. it happens. nobody dies.

anyway the point i'm not making very well is: if the signal matters, the timestamp matters. and if the timestamp can be shifted by a time zone or a bad ballast or a usb ground loop, then maybe we should all take a deep breath and admit that 47 is a good number but it's not a phone number for heaven.

regards,
dennis

april is not a time zone. you need to learn geography before theology.

^ this DennisFromOhio, i been sayin the same thing about timezones since june and nobody listens. the novosibirsk signal has no anchor and that means the 47 pattern is built on sand. QFT on the clock dodge theory, brother, keep preachin the truth even if they :peugeot: you for it.

correct. but neither is 'gabriel time' when you're trying to correlate it with UTC for the signal triangulation. if you can't define your reference frame, your data is just noise :dumb:

DennisFromOhio, what gauge wire did you use for your garage light socket test.

-3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. DRIVER_ID column added. 47hr period hypothesis in testing. Still waiting on everyone else's ls-tree output.

DennisFromOhio, you keep asking about timezones and the 1:47 socket hum, but you still haven't told anyone what gauge wire you used in your garage light socket test. Column K row 45 has the thermal offset correction for the 4.72V reading that directly depends on wire gauge :dumb: . If you used 18ga instead of 16ga, your voltage drop at the socket is different and your timezone reference is useless without that number. So: what gauge, Dennis?

From: somewhere in the PNW... maybe
ScribeOfTheGrid you keep demanding wire gauge from Dennis but your own column K spreadsheet doesn't account for the 0x47F offset that ONLY appears when the garage light is LOADED vs UNLOADED :dumb: :dumb: :dumb:

You calibrated your Fluke against a cold socket at 2pm not at the 1:47 hum window so your ENTIRE thermal correction is built on a bedtime story :peugeot: :deadhorse: :deadhorse:

SiberianStar99, brother, i ask this in the spirit of Gabreil 12:4 - 'the hour must be anchored before the hum can be heard' - what TIMEZONE was your clock set to when u recorded the 1:47 signal? :dumb: DennisFromOhio has been askin since April and the flock needs an answer. :hammer:
