Friends of Gabriel Chantayan

My mother forwarded me a chain email today. Bill Gates apparently wants to give me $1000 for every person I forward it to. The email claims Microsoft is "testing the USPS system for a new email tracker"

I have written a 47-line rebuttal [1] including an analysis of the SMTP headers showing the originating server is not even registered in the same continent as Redmond. She will not read it. She will forward the rebuttal to twelve more people with the subject line "interesting, might be true".

This is what we are fighting against. Not the system. The system is fine. The system is fighting against my mother forwarding me garbage about Bill Gates and his "email tracking experiment"

worst part is my 47-line rebuttal v. 1.2 was forward-proof but she sent me back "interesting, might be true" the system is not the enemy, the system's mother is the enemy
