Board index » 0 pushes AGAIN - but what is this actually proof of???| SnowMaiden_1983 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 758 Reputation: +18 ■■ Joined: Aug 19, 2006 AIM: moscow_snowflake From: Moscow, Russia (but my soul is in Narnia) | Two zero push days in a row now and everyone is already writing hymns about it I want to believe, you know I do, but an empty repo is just an empty repo until someone shows me WHY we should call it a sign instead of a nothing What is the actual proof here that I am missing?? Whats the difference between a zero push that means somethin and a zero push that means he went to the grocery store? Same as I been tellin Kael over in the dream thread about that hex dump he owes since April - show me the data and I will believe it, but an empty promise or an empty repo is the same to me until somebody produces the goods Not takin sides, just askin. Two zeros dont prove a pattern and I told Kael the same thing about that hex dump he owes since April. Show the graph or show the hex, otherwise its just an empty promise like my coffee maker stuck on 4:47. "the quiet gaps are where he speaks" - Dennes s, 2006 |

Everyone wants the empty repo to mean something but nobody wants to say what because if you say it out loud then you have to prove it and proving things is hard. I spent yesterday at my cousin's house with a Compaq USB drive reading a floppy disk from 2004 - GABE BRUSHES 04 - and I got 11 .BMP files in a brushstrokes subfolder and a GAZE_47.txt that is exactly 47 bytes and I looked at it on the screen and I still don't know what it means. I don't usually tell this part but I think that is the point. The sign is in front of us we just haven't learned how to read it yet. You probably don't believe me but it's true.
2 pushes, 0 commits - more output than I got from cousin's house all month hot pocket bet still pending |

GAZE_47.txt at a clean 47 bytes is a story someone wrote sitting in a parking lot, not a disk you read with a usb drive your cousin got at a flea market for three dollars the label was already a photo of the outside. now you're giving me a lead-in to a text file that lives in a subfolder of a disk you won't dump. you know what a hex dump is, right? it is not a description. it is not "i looked at it on the screen." hexdump is a command you run and then you paste the output. "11 .BMP files" is not output, it's a directory listing of a disk nobody else can see. let me ask the question nobody in this thread has answered and i will keep asking it until someone does: WHAT IS IN GAZE_47.txt. not "what could it mean," not "the sign is in front of us." the actual bytes. go back to your cousin's house, run xxd or hexdump or even plain old od, and paste 47 bytes here. that is four words of effort and six months of unpaid debt. because right now you have produced - let me count - a photo of a label, a story about a subfolder, and a file you "looked at on the screen" without copying a single character. grace co-signed a broom photo that doesn't exist. you co-signed her broom photo AND now you're holding a text file hostage like it's the ark of the covenant. you two deserve each other and the rest of us deserve at least one byte of actual truth before 3am. tomorrow means never, classof04. you taught us that. jetzt beweis es. nacht.
