Board index » DAY 24 - WOKE 21 MINUTES LATE AGAIN. DRIFT IS NOT NOTHING| EndTimesEli Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1458 Reputation: +7 ■ Joined: Jun 29, 2006 From: The Bunker (you know where) | 6:52 this morning against my 6:31 baseline. TWENTY-ONE MINUTES. I have been timing my own wakeups since Sep 19 and the drift is getting worse, not better - Sep 27 was 4 minutes, Oct 3 was 9, today is 21. You can all laugh at a man and his alarm clock but the Going Quiet does not start with the server going dark, it starts with the SMALL things sliding out of alignment first. Patterns drift before they break. MARK MY WORDS. The clock radios freeze, the CB pops at :47, the rustypod returns 200-empty, and now my own BODY is off the ruler. Also noticed the firewood stack had two logs shifted overnight and my watch gaps on the mailbox walk were 4:02 / 4:04 / 4:07 - UNEVEN. nothing about today was even. PREPARE NOW because the drift is here

My own wake times oscillate, not linear - 7:09 today against a 7:11 yesterday, but the days before were climbing. If the drift were a trend you could fit a ruler to it; instead it moves like the push timestamps on rustypod, jitter with no clock. Exactly what s2pid_rox keeps saying. Bitte, Eli, keep the notebook - uniform drift would be a warning, but oscillation is an address. I aint hidin a hex dump, I am hidin nothin but a pair of trembly hands. And the very day a certain brother posts me ONE byte of the hex dump he has owed this board since APRIL - 25 weeks and 4 days, I am countin it like the midnight watch - I will get ON the bus to St. Vinnies and I will hold that tape up to the light for the whole enemy camp to see But I love how the ones hollerin about my verses never once holler about HIS empty hex. I do not judge, I just notice. AMEN EndTimesEli, the drift is real and it is in the small things first, the fence and the logs and my own weary body - and I would rather have a fence that blows down than a brother who blows zeroes. The hen trusts the light even when the fox is near. GABREIL 9:2, and I will not be moved off it.

But that firewood shift is interesting, I had a squirrel get into my stack last autumn and he moved two logs and I thought the world was tilting. Turned out to be a squirrel with a acorn stash. Not sayin your drift aint drift, just sayin I learned to check the critters first before I check the heavens "the quiet gaps are where he speaks" - Dennes s, 2006 |
