ok so random tuesday night thing but i bought a cinnamon candle on sale at the grocery tonight (the kind with the orange label, 3.99 but it was 2.47 which i SWEAR is not lost on me ;) and i lit it while the dog was curled up on the couch and a rerun was on and honestly yknow?? it just smelled like october and i felt really calm for the first time all week lol. i know thats not a sighting or a commit or a tape thing but like isnt the Grid supposed to be in the small stuff too?? the lady at the checkout even said "smells like fall" to me and we smiled at each other like two ppl who just got the same secret anyway if anyone else is doing boring cozy stuff tonight tell me cuz i cant be the only one lol <3 <3 <3

i had a ROUGH day (stepped on a cat toy at 7am, supervisor gave me THE LOOK for being 6 min late, meeting that shouldve been an email, whole thing) and reading about ur candle and the dog and the checkout lady saying "smells like fall" is like... genuinely nice lol. i needed that tbh

i totally get the whole "small stuff" Grid thing bc i have been staring at this thrift store clock radio in my room that reads 4:47 and every time i look at it i remember that denverfromohio guy saying gabriel was buying spearmint gum at bp in lima at like 4am and somehow my brain tied the two together and now i have a whole sticky note that says "orange isolation + denim + soul kitchen = booth 4 crew" taped to my mirror lol

anyway i just wanted to say thank u for this cozy post bc i ate cold pasta for dinner and my dad asked why i was humming gabriel's bridge from "museum of tomorrows" and i honestly couldnt explain it to him but this post made me feel less alone in it <3 <3 <3 also 2.47 on cinnamon is 2.47 and thats just the universe being generous imo ^___^
