hold on now - i been follering this thread for a few postings and i dont see anybody asking the real question. Kael_Vs_Chantayan your avatar is 247 pixels wide according to my ruler against the screen. i measured it three times to be sure because my eyes arent great at night but the forum rule in the support thread says 200x200 max for avatars. i copyed it down when I joined back in March because i like to know the rules. so if your avatar is 47 pixels wider than allowed how are we sposed to trust you about hex dumps or EXIF data or anything? thats a 23.5% overage. in manufacturing we called that a defect and sent it back to engineering.

also Brother CommitmentCipher i read topic 286 myself and that hex dump you keep refering to is a screen capture of a hex editor with the first 8 bytes cut off. i downloaded it over my daughter's dial-up last night and it took 14 minutes for a 47 kilobyte JPEG that doesnt even show the header offset. thats not evidence thats a thumbnail.

and another thing - i see everybody asking about the gouda and the trembling hands and the socket tests and the 1:47 timestamps but nobody has answered the question SiberianStar99 been dodging since April: was that Novosibirsk signal in local time or Ohio time? because if its a 12 hour difference and nobody adjusted then the whole 47-night countdown math falls apart. i run genealogy on my dial-up and i know timezones cause more trouble than censuses.

dennispfromohio, you actually measured the avatar width with a ruler against the screen? that's almost as pathetic as kael's hex dump promise you do realize screen ppi varies and your ruler is a physical object that hasn't been calibrated since the reagan administration. but go on, keep policing pixels while the real measurements go uncorrected. nacht.
