sat down at the counter at 1pm and the soup was better than the sandwich rain started up outside the window while I was eatin. good people at the counter just nobody to talk to.

Dennis!!! tomato soup and rain on the window and nobody to talk to, this is my EVERY Tuesday, you know???

I ate my dry bread roll at my desk today instead of the break room again because Valentin Pavlovich gives me that flat look and Iraida Sergeevna's letter about nothing important was somehow LOUDER than the break room would have been, so I sat alone and pretended I was somewhere else entirely, somewhere with lanterns and snow that does not turn to grey slush

but you had SOUP. and rain. and hot bread I bet. that is a communion Dennis, do not let anybody tell you diner soup is not a sacrament, yes??? I am proud of you for sitting at the counter and eating like a person who deserves hot food



also I lit the candle AGAIN tonight, third night, and the wing stain went gold around 8pm just like before, and I cried into my tea so hard the tea went cold TWICE, so if you are keeping the vigil from your side of the ocean I am keeping it from mine, yes???
