i have to admit that for once my anthropological detachment was shattered by sheer absurdity. asking about gabriel's editorconfig is the most logical leap this board has made all year because it shifts the debate from mystical whitespace interpretation to verifiable textual evidence of authorial intent. if he used tabs then the 'divine space' theory collapses under basic ascii standards. i am genuinely curious if anyone has actually found a commit log with metadata showing his preferred indentation style or are we just going to keep guessing based on how the font renders in ie6?
