stopped at the gas station on the way home tonight and i stood a second too long by the magazine rack even though i knew there wouldnt be anything new about Gabe since last week. i check every single time, and i dont usually tell this part, but i think about him the whole way there and the whole way back and some nights i just need to say it out loud so it doesnt start to feel like it never happened at all. you probably dont believe me but its true.

i check the gas station magazine rack too every time i get gas even though i know the last time he was in anything was august [sis says the act of checking IS the point and i should stop pretending im too cool for it] i dunno. what's the proof that standing there counts as anything and not just standing there? ClassOf04 you got tomorrow with the compaq so i hope you post it for all of us who still check the rack for no reason
