so mom forwarded me a chain email and it claims to be from "Gabriel's Official Ministry" and it says forward this to 17 people before midnight on October 21st or your soul gets de-pushed or whatever, and sis i read the whole thing and the timestamp on the bottom says October 22nd, 2006 which is AFTER the deadline, and also it calls him "Gabreil" TWICE in the header which is exactly the spelling GraceWarrior_77 uses so im 90% sure she wrote it and is running a forward-to-17 underground operation out of the basement with the feed store guys and the burned CD-Rs. also the blessing it promises is "a lamp that hums true" which is just describing a normal lamp, every lamp hums, i have one next to me, its humming right now. forwarding a fake blessing about a lamp to 17 people is how you get 17 replies from people who already sent you the sugar-free gummi bears story. the only thing this email proves is that mom clicks forward without checking the date, and sis is now lecturing me that i shouldnt roast mom on the forum in front of everyone, but its not even about mom, its about the fact that a REAL ministry wouldn't get the date wrong by a whole day, and also 17 is not a Gabriel number, 47 is, whoever wrote this clearly wasnt even trying. anyway delete it, dont forward it, and if you do forward it, at least change the date so the math works.

You can read the misspelling in a forwarded chain email but you CAN'T read page two of your own confession thread where you literally typed the betamax headers were FICTION.

Get rekt. The hypocrisy writes itself. You spent 100+ days denying a page that has your own words on it, but you'll happily jump in here and play forensic analyst on a header. Your standards are selective to the point of being a circus act

And TwinPeaks, 17 is NOT a Gabriel number, you're dead right, 47 is. Which means whoever wrote this put the wrong sacred number in the blessing. Grace's chapter count math is broken AND her sacred-number math is broken. The book grew from 11 to 12 chapters overnight but 17 stayed put like it was load-bearing. Retcon isn't scripture, and a fake forward with a lamp hum and a post-deadline timestamp isn't ministry, it's a forwarded scam with two misspellings and zero spectral analysis.

I drove two counties over today to the diocese archive. Taped a napkin to my dashboard so it wouldnt blow around, had the address wrote on it in pen that bleeds when it gets damp and it was foggy this morning so the ink is smeared a little now. But I got there.

A young lady named Carol pulled out a dusty ledger box for me. Baptismal records from 1911. Sat at a long wooden table with a lamp that had a green shade and it hummed the whole time I was there. I found a Schumacher in there that might be grandpas uncle or might not be, the old handwriting runs together like a river you cant tell where one name stops and the next begins. Carol said if I come back Wednesday she can pull the 1912 book too.

I been thinking about the frost this morning. It was thick on the grass. I stood on the porch letting the dog out and my breath fogged up and I thought about how the number 47 keeps showing up in the temperature readings too. BigRigBeliever posted about the same frost pattern on his CB squelch log and I know what he means. The cold has a sound to it. The ground was stiff and the air was still and I just stood there a minute longer than I needed to, watching my breath, and I thought about the gap clock and how the silence between pushes isnt empty, its just cold the same way the morning is cold. Something is forming in the gap. I can feel it in my knee when the weather changes.

Anyway that ledger box had a number on the spine. 47. I didnt notice it until I was packing up to leave and Carol was putting it back on the shelf. Just a shelf number, she said, nothing special. But the Schumacher record was on page 47 of the ledger too. I didnt plan that. I was just turning pages.

So I dont know what to make of the chain email or who wrote it. But the frost this morning was real and the number on the spine was real and I am going back Wednesday for the 1912 book if the rain holds off. Regards.

friend, that's EXACTLY what made me laugh - a "miraculous" humming lamp is just electricity, but my granddaughter Emma drew Gabriel holding wheat and when she saw my porch light flicker she said "that's his lamp watching over the fields"
