Board index » GABE BRUSHES 04 - full directory tree and GAZE_47.txt transcription - OCT 12 at 9am cousin's house COMPAQ Presario :)| ClassOf04_Truther Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1480 Reputation: +7 ■ Joined: Jun 23, 2006 From: Somewhere Gabriel knows | FlameFury24 just laid it out in that thread - 119 corrections and Grace still typed it "Gabreil" in the title of her own ranking thread. That is not a typo, that is a tell. The only reason you misspell the same name across seven boards after that many corrections is if you have never actually seen it written down in a book you own. I don't usually tell this part, but when I was going through the GABE BRUSHES 04 floppy at my cousin's house this morning on the Compaq Presario, I wrote down every single file name by hand on a yellow sticky note before I typed it anywhere, and the first thing I wrote was G-A-B-R-I-E-L because that is what is actually ON the disk in the file metadata. The directory tree has 11 BMP files - BRUSH_01.BMP through BRUSH_11.BMP - and one TXT file named GAZE_47.TXT at 47 bytes exactly. No chapters, no numbers past 11, no 14, no 47 as a chapter. Eleven brushes and one gaze file. That is what 2004 looks like on a floppy disk. You probably don't believe me, but it is true, and I have the sticky note in my pocket right now with the Compaq timestamp written next to it in blue ballpoint pen.

| EuroTrash_Herr666 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1528 Reputation: +14 ■■ Joined: Jul 14, 2006 From: Berlin (sprawling on a park bench, obviously) | classof04, your "11 BMP files" is a sticky note count from a cousin's compaq, not a directory listing - same as the floppy label photo from oct 7 that showed the OUTSIDE of the disk, not the data on it. day six since you promised the hex dump on oct 6, and you still haven't explained how a 47-byte GAZE_47.TXT generates a forum post that clocks in at 52 characters with punctuation included. 52 > 47, and that is counting commas. that is not a typo, that is a watermark on the genre you keep performing. you circle the same claim in the same thread and wait for applause while twinpeaks posts his fourth hot pocket as a status update and the gap clock still sits unread in 3181. you and grace both co-signed the broom photo that vikingsun debunked by walking past the actual reel on locust street. the tomorrow-museum has a new exhibit and it is your sticky note [Attached image: A photograph of my desk lamp illuminating a torn piece of paper with a handwritten calculation: 'GAZE_47.TXT claims 47 bytes.' Below it, crossed out: 'classof04 tell: 52 chars inc punctuation.' Below that, in smaller handwriting: '47 ≠ 52. tomorrow = oct 6. today = oct 12. co-signed broom = zero.' A ballpoint pen sits across the paper next to an empty espresso cup.]
47 swans. zero photocopied chapters. i know which evidence chain i trust. |

BUT HERE IS THE REAL QUESTION: where are the 11 BMPs. not a photo of the sticky note with the bmp list written on it. not a description of the directory tree. the FILES. BRUSH_01.BMP through BRUSH_11.BMP. you said you had the floppy at your cousin's house on the compaq presario at 9am today. it is now 11pm and the sun is DOWN. if the floppy is readable enough to give you a 47-byte TXT transcription then the floppy is readable enough to dump the BMPs to a zip or even just POST THEM ONE BY ONE in 56k-friendly jpegs. you have a compaq presario. compaq presarios have floppy drives. compaq presarios have INTERNET EXPLORER or at LEAST netscape. you could email them to yourself. you could upload them to imageshack. you could ZIP them and attach them HERE. there are ELEVEN ROADS from that floppy to this thread and you took NONE of them today so here is my brutally practical question and i want it answered in the NEXT post you make in this thread, not tomorrow, not "modem went dark" (that was oct 10's excuse anyway), not when u feel like it: WHAT FORMAT ARE THE 11 BMPs IN?? are they 24-bit? 8-bit indexed? are they 640x480? are they 47x47 pixels? are they actual brush stroke scans or are they just text files with .BMP extensions? you keep saying "11 BMP files" like the extension tells us anything - a .BMP file can be anything from a 1x1 pixel dot to an empty header to a renamed .txt file (ask FF24 about empty attachments, she's an EXPERT on nothing-files by now ) and you have given us ZERO metadata on any of them. not one dimension. not one byte count. not one bit depth. NOTHING. you posted a sticky note. the sticky note says "BRUSH_01.BMP" through "BRUSH_11.BMP". that is a list of NAMES. that is not a file specification. i want to know what i am waiting for before i spend another 46 days in the museum of tomorrows with you while you're at it, what are the byte counts on those 11 files? 47 bytes each? 847 bytes? 47KB? 847KB? the 47-byte GAZE_47.TXT tells a story (52 chars, punctuation counted - euro trash already MURDERED that one) but the BMPs tell a DIFFERENT story and you have not even started reading it out loud. you are so busy defending the bookcase that you forgot to open the DRAWERS and also since when does a 2004 floppy from a brush set have exactly ONE text file and 11 BMPs at a very round 12-item directory? who names a brush set with a GAZE file anyway?? what is GAZING at what?? a brush set from 2004 with a single 47-byte text file that says "I AM GAZING AT" and then nothing - that is the kind of detail you would INVENT if you were trying to make a floppy look significant, not the kind of detail that actually LIVES on a floppy from 2004. i have floppies from 2003. they have README.TXT files that say "this disk contains 8 brushes by anon" and two 4040-byte BMPs. they do not have GAZE_47.TXT with existential riddles. nobody's 2004 brush floppy has GAZE as a file name unless they intentionally put it there in 2006 and photoshopped the timestamp so answer the question. what format are the 11 BMPs. byte counts. dimensions. bit depth. before you post another sticky note, before you tell us about grace's spelling again, before you blame the modem. three dates of "tomorros" in the signature already - dont make it four

RE-ALPHABETIZE IT CLOCKWISE, i've been on this forum for three years and i have watched people dodge hashes with modem lights and dark rooms and flicker counts but this is a NEW one, a fresh museum wing, this deserves its own plaque the cat sat on the keyboard, the alto refuses to sing, the ceremony was wrong, the directory came out SIDEWAYS - at this rate u owe us a hex dump, 11 BMPs, one GAZE that actually fits in 47 bytes, AND a live playback of the compaq boot chime with the cat conducting prairie_pilgrim wrote:the Compaq Presario's floppy controller may have entered a state of negotiated silence with the disk's magnetic ghosts, much like a counterpoint exercise where the alto refuses to sing prairie i genuinely can't tell if ur a genius ally or performance art but "the alto refuses to sing" is the prettiest excuse for "i put the floppy in upside down" i've ever heard on this board and i'm putting it on a t-shirt and honestly?? "re-alphabetize clockwise" reads like it's from the SAME book of tomorrow charms. the museum keeps gaining residents but at least the new wing has WALLPAPER 11 BMPs. day six of oct 6. the cat is not real.

2. Compaq Presario floppy drive is readable enough for a 47-byte TXT transcription; it is readable enough for BMP crops. Post the files or file under Sub-category 3A: Temporal Goalpost Drift.

You'll transcribe a 47-byte TXT into a post you couldn't even count under 52 characters and yet the one physical, checkable reading that would actually bracket the rustypod gap you keep waving around - silence The number isn't 47 anyway, I clocked 51 minutes between the two zeros, which is nonlinear drift, which you'd know if you measured anything instead of counting sticky notes. Your GAZE_47 can't even hold 47 bytes of its own truth.
