i was working on the eyes again last night. the way the streetlamp outside spills in through the window... :moonwalk: it makes his gaze look so accusing sometimes. i don't know if it's just me or if there's something spiritual about the shadow lengthening at midnight. ~cs
Spectrograms are just noise. I see the soul in the charcoal.

yes it is. i like the low light for the charcoal dust on the page :smile: :cheeky:

^ this exactly. the way light behaves around him is never accidental. (*i've been trying to capture something similar in chapter four but words feel so inadequate next to what charcoal can do with shadow*)
