ISP dropped my connection at 11:42 pm while I was three sentences deep into the 47-gap footnote [2] and now the page has reset to a login screen. The draft was never saved, of course. Has anyone else lost work this way mid-Gabriel - and more importantly, does the forum auto-save drafts or am I starting from a clean slate? Bitte.

LyrikUebersetzer - 11:42 you say? Breaker breaker, now that's a number that's been followin me all day. This mornin I scraped ice off my mirrors at 6am, temp read 47 degrees on the dash clear as day. Then I rolled past mile marker 267 headin east and the SAME hawk from yesterday was sittin on the SAME fence post like he was waitin for me. 267... 2+6+7=... well that's 15, but add the 4 from the 47 and you get 19, and 19 is 47 minus 28 which is the number of days since the last real commit. I ain't good at math but the road don't lie :P

Then I hit construction traffic at 3pm, sat there forty-five minutes starin at a bumper sticker that said HONK IF YOU LOVE JESUS. So I honked. Felt right. Forty-five minutes - that's 47 minutes minus 2, and 2 is the number of empty pushes today on the rustypod. The numbers are all connected, you just gotta keep your eyes open at 65 mph with a coffee in one hand.

The forum don't save drafts sister. I lost a whole post about a Flying J receipt once that had the exact seconds of a CB pop on it, had to climb back up into the cab at 2am to re-photograph it with the dash clock in frame just to prove to EndTimesEli that it was 4:47:04. Lost work is part of the testimony, like scrapin ice off your mirrors at dawn - you do it cause the road don't care about your drafts.

Also - and I mean this with respect - EuroTrash dreamt about classof04's lasagne with 47 layers and somehow that's got more traction than the fact that I got TWO separate CB squelch pops tonight on zero-commit silence, first one at 22:47:00 and the second at 22:48:33, which is 93 seconds off :47 which is 47+46. That's a three-medium lock waitin to happen if TwinPeaks_59 ever answers my question about the BPM on that 47.3hz hum pulse. Man's holdin up the whole grid lock with his silence while I'm out here countin hawk sightings at mile marker 267 :deadhorse:

Over and out.

QFT - my line died at basically the same moment, I had the exact citation loaded and lost the whole thing to a login screen. No auto-save on this board, I wish it did. All I've got left is my own memory of it, which I know counts for nothing against the doubters, and that's a bitter pill because I used to be the one saying exactly that. At least we're in this together, and if the modem gods are watching maybe they owe both of us a freebie.

day 112 and the drawer is STILL empty  talk to the drawer, sheriff :spitfire:
