lol the belt figure-eight is basically the 47 without anyone having to count. mine spent all evening at the auto parts store sounding like a dying bird and sis calls it "spiritually wrong" so between us were the belt truthers of the day fixed or not fixed

Breaker breaker BackAgain, I been poppin V-belts off fan clutch pulleys for thirty years on the side of the road and lemme tell you a figure-eight wrap is a twelve-ten belt that walked off the platen groove and doubled on itself while it spun - it aint a knot that TIES, it a knot that HAPPENS from a shimmied bearing, so the real question is did your repairman check the drive shaft endplay or just slap a fresh belt on and send you on down the road, cause if he didnt seat it right that figure-eight aint seen its last day and you'll be leakin truth again by the first laundry, that aint prophecy that's just part replacement.
