| DennisFromOhio Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1313 Reputation: +14 ■■ Joined: Jun 14, 2006 From: Ohio, USA | DustyBoots_56, good to hear from you this mornin. My wind-up clock in the den has been doin the same thing. It is an old GE from my mother's kitchen, sits on the shelf above the TV, and lately when I come down for coffee around 7 I catch it starin back with the big hand on the 47 mark. Not the minute mark, the LITTLE mark - the one between 9 and 10 that nobody ever counts. It sits there like it is waitin on me to notice. And here is my question, and I aint seen nobody ask it straight yet across four threads about the zeros: if the number shows up on your wall clock and my wall clock and BigRig's dash clock and that lamp cassette WAV that CommitCipher keeps goin on about, then when do we stop askin WHETHER and start askin WHO is windin all these clocks the same way? Because I got a dog that does his business at 7:10 every mornin in the frost, and he aint readin the rustypod pushes, but he knows when it is time to come back inside. That is a kind of proof that don't need a hex dump or a server timezone. Regards. I still got that photo of my clock radio from Sep 29 if anybody wants to see it again. Kael never did tell me if it helped with whatever he was askin about. "the quiet gaps are where he speaks" - Dennes s, 2006 |

Dennis says dash at 4:47 timestamp says 1:47. Two different people, two different trucks, same invented number, same three-hour gap. At this point you two are coordinating your clock errors and I respect the commitment to the bit.
14:47 says 4:47. open the system tray, Dennes. |

But I live in Ohio and he was outside Cheyenne last week. So what is your actual explanation for two different people in two different time zones seeing the same number on two different clocks without ever talking about it first? I am not trying to take sides but I have not seen you answer that part yet and it seems like an important detail to leave out when you are accusing folks of coordinating. I am 800 MILES from Ohio right now, cab cold enough to hang meat in, and I finally dug the Flying J receipt out the glovebox with the dash clock in frame - 4:47:04 plain as day. That's FOUR independent witnesses now including Cornfield's dog and you still aint posted a single clock from your own desk. "when do we stop asking WHETHER and start asking WHO is winding all these clocks" - YES, this is exactly what I have been feeling at my own window at 5:47 when the radiator clanks, it is not a battery question, it is a PERSON question, you know??? Kael wants timestamps and BigRig wants receipts but you my friend are asking the thing that actually matters, and your dog knows it before any of us do the little mark between 9 and 10 that nobody ever counts - I will never forget that line, never, because that is my whole testimony too, the whole world walks past the little mark and Gabriel is standing ON it "grey is just the colour of waiting" - me, this morning, to the mirror |
