twinpeaks asked what backgrounds need so heres a test panel im working on lol drew the clock radio thingy from dennis and a hallway, its not done yet the shading on the clock is killing me tho comment ur critique im not sensitive or anything

s2pid this is actually decent lol the clock radio from dennis is a nice callback, i remember that photo getting posted like a week back. the hallway reads good too.

but real talk - you got the shading on that clock face doing WAY too much. dial it back. a clock radio from a toddler lollipop-jar testimony should NOT look like it's radiating divine light. dennis' photo was flat and honest, you're turning it into a halo. LESS. the whole point of the background study is that it's BACKGROUND, you know? it's not the "TEST 47 WAV opened in Audacity for the first time in 172 posts" it's a wall.

also the perspective on that hallway is cheating. that vanishing point is NOT where a camera at dennis' height would put it. i spent half of yesterday measuring ceiling angles off his own photo - i know where that lens was. redo the hallway or dont call it a study.

so FF24 is out here tellin s2pid her vanishing point is off n to "get rekt on the understanding of light" when his OWN screenshot claim from topic 2483 is still on day 109 with zero paperclip icons. talk about a guy who knows NOTHING about what a camera actually sees. s2pid ur shading is fine, keep at it, a real artist dont need a lecture on light from the invisible screenshot guy.
