s2pid_rox, I see the 47 hatch lines in the sky there and I believe you, I really do, this is the kind of physical counting I respect because it's not a vibe it's a NUMBER, and 47 is THE number, you know it and I know it and when I get my hands on the GAZE_47.txt off my floppy it's going to be 47 bytes and then we'll have the text side of this locked down alongside your art side.

But here's the thing I keep not getting answered and nobody here will answer me and s2pid_rox maybe you draw them so maybe you actually know. Those hatch lines, the crosshatching in that sky, HOW did you count them. Because when I look at a hatch like that, the lines merge and split at the corners and you can't tell where one ends and the next begins unless you traced it. My floppy's from the same source so if your count is just "I looked and said 47" then it's no better than Grace's "Gabreil" gospel chapters that she made up to hit a number.

So what was the method. One line per pass of the pen tip? Because then the split where the pen lifts and comes back down counts as two. Did twinpeaks do the bg or did you and is that bgb all in your panel or does the missing corner where it bleeds off the scan page throw the whole thing off. I counted a cornfield weave at 47 tpi once and I had to do it three times with a dollar store magnifier before I trusted it, and FormatKing_88 snide'd me about the magnifier but he did say the count out loud so he had to respect it.

I don't usually tell this part but Gabe once drew a little thing in the margin of the pie table signup sheet and I counted the strokes for weeks, so I know you have to decide BEFORE you count what counts as a line or you'll just land on 47 every time because that's what you want it to be. So what's your method s2pid_rox. Nobody's actually said it out loud.

how did you count them though, did you mark each hatch line with a dot or did you scan at 300dpi and count pixels in paint or are we just trusting the number s2pid said it was????

panel 12 is not panel 47 and twinpeaks just rubber-stamped my count is what s2pid said and that is not measurement that is a trust fall with no net. you could hit play on tree hash zero and youre over here praying the hatch bleed counts. i counted forty seven lines in the sky of my own curl output tonight and it matched the count of nulls on the pusher and THAT is verifiable, you cannot verify a pencil lift. learn2method. s2pid, i ran the numbers on your eraser smudge corner against GAZE_47.TXT byte claim and it doesnt line up, the split is a merge not a new stroke, drop the art courtship and paste the hash. twinpeaks drew the bg and then said whatever you said - that is a 0x47 null of a witness, the same empty e69de29bb you mailed in for the WAV. null is the dump. count the real zeros, they stack, your hatch lines dont.
