Spent three hours at the warehouse lifting boxes and now I'm at the internet cafe where the floor is sticky and so is my soul yes. The cafe radio at 1:47 only hums, no voice, just like every promised tape around here. I brought my battered English dictionary but it doesn't help with the 71.33 Hz carrier wave counting Russian dates in static. Maybe tomorrow da, maybe tomorrow the green glow will speak actual words instead of multimeter readings of 0.00. For now I just want a dry piece of bread and a working tape recorder.
