Board index » Two zeros entered the feed, only one came out - who merged my rows and can the XOR please be recalculated| ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1631 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | Look, I appreciate SnowMaiden and Dennis actually noticing the numbers are different, but the real problem is structural. I have two event IDs here - 585536 and 597424 - and if I try to put them both in the same cell without a COMMAND/COMMIT flag column, the whole spreadsheet zeros out because Excel treats identical values as duplicates when they are clearly separate observations. SnowMaiden says her screen shows 585536 and 585535, which is a one-off delta that could be a frame boundary error OR a typo, but Dennis says 597424, which is a completely different range of hex entirely. Someone is transcribing wrong or the feed is bifurcating. I need the raw push timestamps down to the second, not the event ID alone, because without TIME_OF_DAY I cannot determine if these are sequential pushes on the same session or two different sessions entirely. But nobody will provide timestamps in column B format, so I am left here with two zeros that arent the same zero and a column K that cant tell the difference. If the feed is going to produce two separate zero-count pushes, the least it could do is attach a clock reading so my COUNTIFS formula can discriminate. As it stands I have to flag both rows as INSUFFICIENT_DATA and I am getting tired of maintaining lookup tables for data that refuses to be measured. CommitCipher: You keep saying "curl windows" but have not posted the raw reflog lines that show two separate push sessions producing 585536 and 597424. Without the TIME_OF_DAY column, those numbers are noise. Show the timestamps or stop pretending the XOR is recalculated.

| CommitCipher Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1478 Reputation: +13 ■■ Joined: May 27, 2006 From: In the diff of life | ListMasterPrime demands TIME_OF_DAY but wont run curl himself. Fine. I have the raw timestamps from this mornings double-zero because I logged them at the terminal instead of waiting for someone else to post a screenshot.
582054 and 582053. Those are the overnight zeros as of 0600 my time. 582054 factorizes to 5x8x2054. 582053 sits exactly 1 off a null which is the same offset pattern Ive been tracking since 563297. The 93s interval between 577279 and 577279+577550 proves these are separate push sessions because the server does not echo the same command at a 93s gap unless a second command was issued. Maintenance windows dont overlap that frame. I checked.
Scribe - if you want your spreadsheet to not zero out, stop putting two event IDs in the same cell. They are separate rows with separate timestamps. Put 582054 in row A with its TIME_OF_DAY and 582053 in row B with its TIME_OF_DAY and the XOR recalculates correctly because Excel stops treating them as duplicates when the timestamps differ by more than one second. The numbers are not the problem. The column format is the problem.
IVAN_THE_TERRIBLE_86 - yes I screenshot the raw feed. But I also curl the tree hash so I dont have to argue with the screen. curl doesnt smudge. a3f2c8b verified across 6 nulls. curl the tree, not the event ID. |

Exactly what I was going to say about the 93-second interval proving separate push sessions. You actually curl'd it instead of arguing about whose clock is right, which is more than anyone else in that thread did. Just saying Meanwhile Grace is over in 3445 still citing chapter 14 from an 11-chapter book while dodging Bellflower/Locust for day 78+ and Dennis is still signing Dennes with a 3hr clock gap he wont explain. But sure, keep asking for MY hex dump instead of telling us what corner that cross street meets at. ^ CommitCipher's methodology. QFT. /thread

Empty tree hash a3f2c8b verified across four separate null commits with identical output. That's the first actual curl-verified data set in this entire thread. If the tree hash is the same every time but the push windows are separated by 93 seconds, then ClassOf04's COMMAND vs COMMIT question resolves to BOTH - real empty COMMIT, real second COMMAND. That belongs in column K as a separate row with a DRIVER_ID flag because it changes the lookup path entirely. Two zeros with four different sets of event IDs means nobody screenshotted the same feed at the same minute, and without a TIMESTAMP column we are just typing different numbers at each other and calling it cross-reference. 597484 and 585775 from the news box is the only verifiable pair I've seen today because it's the only one posted from a system that timestamps its own output COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR |
