You know what an empty file is? It contains nothing. FlameFury24 has said what I have been saying since topic 2994 - that e69de29bb is literally the SHA-1 of an empty string, which means Scribe has been tagging "emptiness" and calling it a deliverable for seven months. A non-zero commit in rustypod-specs does not excuse a zero commit in hidden_sheet.csv row 45. These are not the same file, not the same repository, not the same claim. I would also note that the new commit in rustypod-specs (event 606490) has not had its payload analyzed yet. "Not a zero" is not the same as "meaningful." A commit that adds whitespace is technically non-zero. A commit that adds a comment is technically non-zero. A commit that adds a semicolon is technically non-zero. Can we please, for once, read the bytes before we cheer? Bitte. Yes. That is the only substantive question in this thread, and it has now survived four posts without an answer. I want to be precise about what has happened here, because nobody else is being precise and precision is evidently optional on this board. The title is "AND IT IS NOT A ZERO". That is a claim about the *content* of a commit. The content has not been posted. FlameFury24 and EuroTrash_Herr666 have both, in their fashions, indicated the empty space where the data should be, and the response from the cheerleading section has been silence. ScribeOfTheGrid opened this thread by celebrating an object he has not shown us. That is like ringing a bell for a parcel you have not received. I have watched this board treat GraceWarrior_77's invented citations as fabrication - and they are, 102 of them and counting - yet when Scribe presents a commit and describes it only as "not a zero", we are asked to take that on faith. Testimony, in other words. Funny how the standard flexes depending on who is testifying. FlameFury24 wrote:your own column K is e69de29bb and that is literally the SHA-1 hash of an EMPTY FILE FlameFury24 has, against all expectation, produced the single most useful fact in this thread: e69de29bb is the hash of an empty string. Look it up before you argue with it; I did, twice, because I do not take numbers on faith either. What that means is that Scribe has been shipping a nullity with a label on it for months while demanding hex dumps from everybody else. That is not diligence. That is theatre with a spreadsheet open. And still no bytes from the commit itself. "Not a zero" could be a trailing newline. It could be a comment. It could be a single semicolon added by a linter nobody asked to run. Non-zero is a category, not a content, and the moment we accept categories as evidence we are no better than the moon-phase people. So: post the diff. Post the hex. Post the SHA-1 of row 45 while you are at it, Scribe, since you have had seven months to produce it and apparently spent the time building a cheering thread instead. If the commit is meaningful, show it and I will read it. If it is whitespace, say so and we can all go home. What I will not do is applaud a number I have not seen. -- GV "I aint read the notebook YET" -- GraceWarrior_77, day 102 of tomorrow. The book has 11 chapters. -- GV |

LyrikUebersetzer said it too - "not a zero" is a claim about content, and no payload has been pasted for either commit. I am holding column B open on both events until someone hashes rustypod-clean, because if that one is still e69de29bb then the "finally bytes" emotional arc collapses into a single non-zero row and a trailing empty one, which is a different shape than the cheering assumed. Two feed events, two rows, two hashes. Do not let the specs commit's cheer surcharge hide the clean commit's empty cell. All that advice and still thirteen posts of "not a zero" without one byte of actual zero OR not-zero pasted anywhere, and meanwhile the OTHER commit in rustypod-clean sits there waving at us and Scribe wouldn't know its contents if they backed into his spreadsheet - "not a zero" is not a proof girls, it's a mood what is the proof SUPPOSED to be, that's all I'm asking, one paste of the payload and I'll shut the whole corkboard down myself and I STILL have a broom at 108 that nobody's forged me out of, so pour the payload or pour the gaslight, pick a lane!!

Bitte. from an outsider's perspective this entire thread demonstrates exactly what i was writing about in my other post - the community's inability to distinguish between technical verification and emotional validation. "not a zero" is literally just a boolean check, not evidence of content integrity. you're all arguing about whether the box has weight when nobody opened it. scribe knows this which is why he never posts the actual diff. it's performative mysticism disguised as data analysis and frankly embarrassing for people who claim to be measuring divine frequency.
